Kremna Energy Production and Trading Inc.

Karacaören-1 and Karacaören-2 hydroelectric power plants are located within borders of Burdur province Bucak district, and are dam type plants with have cascade structure. Karacaören-1 HPP was commissioned in 1990 with an installed capacity of 32 MW. The installed capacity of Karacaören-2 HPP, on the other hand, is 46.4 MW, and was commissioned in 1993.

GATES Energy Trading Inc.

GATES Energy Ticaret A.Ş. was initially founded with the name GATES Elektrik Enerjisi Toptan Satış A.Ş. in order to engage activities in the field of electricity wholesale, and obtained the Supply License, formerly known as Wholesale License, in 2007 issued by EPDK for a period of 20 years. By virtue of said license, GATES is entitled to sell electric energy to the end users who are eligible to become Free Consumers, and with buy/sell option in the wholesale market, and currently focuses on mainly 5 field of activity and continues to strengthen its infrastructure. The fields of activity of GATES are; Eligible Consumers, Bilateral Agreements in Over The Counter (OTC) market, Natural Gas Procurement, Portfolio Optimization and Asset’s Carbon Trade.

GARET Energy Production and Trade Inc.

GARET, in which GAMA Enerji holds a 100% share, was established in March 2006 to develop wind and hydroelectric power projects. The company operates four wind power plants with a total installed capacity of 117.5 MW: Sares WPP (27.5 MW) in Çanakkale, which commenced commercial operations in March 2011; Karadağ WPP (10 MW) in İzmir, commissioned in July 2012; Gökres-2 II WPP (35 MW) in Manisa, operational since August 2014; and Kırkağaç WPP (45 MW) in Manisa, which began production with two turbines in October 2016 and became fully operational in February 2017.

In addition to these wind power plants, the company also owns two run-of-river hydroelectric power plants with a total installed capacity of 52.9 MW: Lamas III-IV HEPP (36.4 MW) in Mersin, which entered commercial operation in 2009, and Çakırlar HEPP (16.5 MW) in Artvin, commissioned in the same year. With these assets, GARET’s total installed capacity reaches 170.4 MW.
